Meditations? Who can meditate the human being?
This is a good book for looking to life in a happy way. But there is a major failure here, since 'Why are we living?' question should be asked to 'GOD' -Who created the all universe & all human beings- and we should look for the message from the This book speaks to me...
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's amazing how on the money it is for the day! Gave me many insights... In case the editor/author/publisher reads this, I would enjoy a perpetual flip calendar version of this book even more!

I remember walking through a bookshop a couple of years ago and seeing Conversations with God - it caught my eye with it's sparse cover and confronting title. Speaks to the Heart!
Walsch's little book on Relationships is amazing.This is a quick read - you will probably finish it in two hours or less, but it is packed with insight, honesty, humor, and its wisdom will touch your soul.Walsh starts out by telling the reader that: "Relationship is the most important experience in our lives.Without it, we are nothing.Literally." Since we engage in so many different kinds of relationships, Walsch gently points out that,"Being in a relationship has everything to do with what you choose to put into it, not what you can get out of it."Walsch has the reader looking at relationships from a higher perspective, and not a selfish one, and one will really stop and ponder, when reading and absorbing his words.Walsch explains how relationships are sacred, as is our experiences of being in a relationship.He says, "Love is a decision, not a reaction."After the infatuation wears off, what does one have left - A genuine relationship, or an empty example of instant gratification? Excellent Inspiration
This set of tapes is diverse enough to keep me interested and also very inspirational and hopeful.. Makes a long drive feel more useful!

This collection of works by the various authors offers the listener an opportunity to have an easily accessed master mind group in the field of human growth.My morning commute's blahs are a thing of the past when I plug in my tapes and visit with the likes of Jack Canfield, Marianne Williams and the others.Each offers a conversationalmonologue which address basic human perceptions and attitudes.I have listened to all the tapes at least twice and will listen to them again and again.Whether at home or on the road, each tape is a treasure of information which offers the listener tools to reshape basic views of life.These tapes are well worth the value. Christians beware...
If you are a Christian and believe in the Bible, then you need to stay away from this book. As the old adage goes, "You can't judge a book by its cover".
Morality is relative ?
I enjoyed most of Walsch's first book, but I don't think he needed to write the same book over and over after that, with slight changes about what, 6 or 7 times?But this book shows a rather disturbing side of Walsch.When asked about the holocaust, he said it was extremely hard for him to deal with that subject, being sensitive to the victim's surviving relatives.And yet when a woman asks about his opinion of rape, he has no problem callously trivializing THIS issue at all!Well, according to Neale, it used to be legal to rape your wife a long time ago, so since society's idea of morality changes all the time, it's all relative, who's to say it's right or wrong? WOW!

Better than Book One in some ways. Excellent
For souls with an open mind! And Book 2 is not just more of Book 1. If you are new to the Conversations With God books it is as good a place to start as any. Walsch and God continue the dialogue begun in the first book, expanding on many of the themes already discussed there. It deals more in specifics and the social implications of a new awareness of God, in oneself and in all of life. The quality and intelligence of the writing is outstanding as it is in all of the CWG series.

First of all, I would have given ZERO stars to this book, but that wasn't a rating option.After reading a portion from the book, I read the introduction by the author.Then, I randomly read pages throughout the entire book.IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!I do not know if the author is a rip-off artist or if he is truly conversing with another power, but this is pure rot, perhaps pure evil.The advice "god" gives in the book is totally anti-Christian, no matter what your Christian denomination is.Do not give your money to this crook or his publishers!Buy something truly Christian and burn any copy of this trash you come across. ... This is the most important book I have ever read.Thom does a good job in laymen's terms in laying everything out.
Change now or face the consequences
I kept reading about this book during my peak oil, climate change readings, and I finally ordered it and read it.What a thought provoking book!I had read Daniel Quinn's Ismael and Story of B, and this continues the thoughful line of thinking that our current civilization is not working and we had better change our course before the whole thing collapses from overpopulation, CO2 warming, and the loss of cheap energy.I plan on buying more copies and giving them to my college age nieces so they can read about the world they are about to inherit.Maybe they can help shape the change that will affect the rest of their lives.Thank you Thom Hartmann!

think for youself, question authority, save the world
This book is the most thought-provoking books I have read in a long time that sheds a lot of light on the current environmental and social conditions of the world.The first 2/3 of the book is very tough to get thru as the environmental outlook is very dim, however the last 1/3 is very optimistic and really makes you feel like you can make a difference (prayer is a great example).Read more

The only Vows I'll use!
I started reading The CWG series years ago and I can not tell you how it has helped me to change and become an all around better person.While I was reading the 1st book in the series I was a little hesitant, but as a read and Neale and God were talking, and God answered Neales questions I was AMAZED!I have asked God so many of the same questions, and they have all been answered the exact same way!And now the more people I talk to about the CWG series the more I hear the same from them, it is amazing!These books are based on Gods love for all of us, and the wedding vows are perfect they simply state we are equals and we shall treat eachother as such, just as God does and always will.We promise to accept one another as we are and to always Love eachother Unconditionally-Forever! Perfect, simple and to the point.If you haven't already read the vows do so, you'll be happy you did.

Not conversing with God in this book
If you have stumbled on this book as I did and are a Christian looking for spiritual content for your wedding, RUN! This book is not about conversing with God but instead about conversations with gods of each man's purpose.I didn't know better when I picked this book off the shelf and was confused and disturbed by the content.I am not of this world but of the heavenly realm, and this sickeningly worldly, new-age dribble left me quite queasy.It's one thing to name a book The Wedding Vows of the New Age Movement.But they aren't conversing with God the Father, Son, or Holy Spirit in this one.Let me warn those of you who want to know Jesus the Author of Truth so you do not fall prey to this deceptive teaching.

About James Dobson
I Lived in Colorado Springs just down the road from focas on the family for several years and the review I read about what James Dobson was saying struck me as funny. This man claims to be a godly and rightgious man hiself yet he is only in this for the money as well. You go into the gift shop at focas on the family and when you go to purchase anything in there on it, it says donation price is.... So that Mr Dobson does not have to pay taxes on it. So Who is the hipocrite here????? I do not know if this book is true or not but I would like to keep an open mind. None of us in this world knows the truth that lies out there the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and others is pure love and I think that is what is trying to be said in this book. There is no wrong or right way there is just faith and the ultimate to except everyone and everything and to obtaine that higher level and to love one another unconditionally......

Finally
I grew up in the church, l was bombarded with the bible and its endless threats of sin and hell. Finally through the Conversations of God books I have discovered a God that loves us all. Would you torture the ones you love for making mistakes? God is love. More love than you could ever understand. I am thankful to have found the truth, Finally! Thank you God.

Mostly not so new
The best of what was said in this book can be traced back to Christian beliefs...love others, don't judge others.As the author attacks established religions over and over again only someone with limited sight would not see that he's picking out and pointing at the fringe of all of them...the extremist.Overall, the most interesting thing was most of his "new revelations" that were worth anything were borrowed from established religions.Clearly his target audience was those who are against organized religion or those who have not studied what they believe.As a Christian and having spent some time (not enough) studying the Bible I recognized what was borrowed and what was, "How I think it should be."
The New Revelations - a conversation With God
Donald Walsch introduces us to a revolutionary concept - that an evil force that is against god does not exist. As we begin to integrate this concept vertically and horizontally we find that it alters every aspect of our current beliefs and indeed, our lives. The concept could truly change the world. Walsch teaches us in a beautiful, straightforward manner, with dignity and humor. I would like to see the listenership of this work just expand and expand.

Critically Important
"The New Revelations" is easily one of the better religion/spirituality books I've ever read.To be honest, I don't care for Walsch's writing style (I would have preferred a straightforward essay), but his message is critical: The image of God that we've been handed by traditional organized religion is harmful and not believable. Walsch offers a compelling alternative view that we instinctively sense is a much better image of God.Walsch's image of God is hopeful, inspiring and wildly inclusive.As far as I can tell, Walsch has no formal theological credentials, which adds to his credibility since he doesn't have a church career to protect and he's not merely regurgitating seminary training. ... A Unique Book
I found the book extremely easy to read and follow. The religious ideas, although presented simply, have been thoroughly researched. Some ideas were repeated more often than necessary. The book presents a radically new concept of God, far removed from the traditional personification found in many religions. However, as the author does not have a background in science he has accepted the standard party line in this field instead of questioning it. The best book I have found that blends in science and religion in a fresh and forceful way is "Anita's Legacy."

A brief summary of an amazing process
If you are familiar with Mr. Walsch's other works, you already knowsomething of the remarkable dialogue that he presents which are justtremendously insightful and uplifting. Meditations of spiritual sanity, clarity and hope
This book takes selected sentences or short paragraphs from Conversations With God Book 2 and spreads them over a diary format, one for each day of the year. Below each is a space for personal thoughts or whatever else the reader chooses to write. Breaking the wisdom down into small "daily meditations" means you can ponder on the ideas and insights without having to read the original book properly! To whom we should ask WHY ARE WE LIVING?

Beautiful to Look at and Thought-Provoking,
each ReMinder card contains a spiritual gem of wisdom from Conversations with God, Book 1, rendered in calligraphy.This set of 48makes a lovely and inexpensive gift for anyone inspired by the CWG series.I have given many, and keep my own set in a nice pottery bowl, handy for picking a card to reflect upon, or to answer a specific question.A fun and artful tool for daily use!

A wonderful reminder...
These beautifully written cards allows the wisdom of the books to apply to us in an easy, daily fashion. I simply pull a card from the pack each morning and know what it is I need to focus on throughout the day. The quotes were chosen perfectly, and the calligraphy and design is simply beautiful. What a joyous way to get daily guidance!

"Signals"An Amazing Story, A MUST READ!
I would like to share with the readers my experience with this book "Signals". For quite some time, i have had unexplained psychic experiences (signals) with my loved ones that have passed on. I wasn't quite sure why i was receiving signals until i read Joel's book. It was like a light bulb went on, the BIG AH HA! Everything seemed to make sense. I even wrote to Joel, and we've become great friends for many years now. I've recently had the honor of meeting him and i have to say, he's the read deal! He is the most genuinely spiritual person i've ever met! Please read this book. It is incredible! Jane

This book touched my heart, it made me laugh and cry.
This is the first time that I have been moved enough by a book to actually take the time to write a review. I have lost so much because of the devistation of the AIDS epidemic. It is so easy to give up and feel sorry for ones self. Joel made me see the hope and joy even in the most tragic moments of my life. I felt his love on every page.
Masterpiece
Signals is truely a masterpiece. Joels' essence is that of gentle soul who has the courage to write about his tragic loss and spiritual journey. His eloquent story of love will continue to help heal so many others, and at the same time offering them much needed hope. A true gift for all readers.
