5-0 out of 5 stars What Are You Thinking This New Day?
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "A man is what he thinks about all day long..." We are...we really, really are. But the sad fact of the matter is, most of us do not really know what we are thinking. In fact, I would say that most of us aren't really thinking at all. Most of us are just operating on unconscious reactions to things.
5-0 out of 5 stars As a Man Thinketh
Small easy read that has to be the best self-help, Sprititually helpful; but not at all religious. Can read it in a couple of hours but each line is so powerful and easily understood that you want to study each one.

When thoroughly digested and fully comprehended, the principles and their practical application of James Allen's classic will Change Your Life...and more importantly the way you think about it, instantaneously! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars "Gone, gone, gone far beyond, enlightenment."
ZEN MIND, BEGINNER'S MIND is the most easily accessible guide to Zen practice, and is usually the first book that new practitioners and the Zen-curious approach after reading the more general "What's Zen Anyway?"-type books. Thus, it has developed an almost canonical reputation. Shunryu Suzuki (1905-1971) spent only a few years in America, was less than fluent in English, and taught in a way that was both simple and yet profound. With his easy intensity, Suzuki had a seminal role in establishing Zen as a viable spiritual practice in the United States and beyond.
5-0 out of 5 stars This is the one that finally did it
This is the book that finally told me what enlightenment really IS--its something, but at the same time nothing. In addition, it tells you the no BS way to actualize it in your daily life.Just get it and see what happens, you will not be disappointed. If you are dissappointed with it, your cup is too full, poor some out and try again.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must-have book in your Creativity & Innovation Library, & must-have card deck on your desk top!
I am a raving fan of Roger von Oech's creative work as embodied in his books & card decks, namely: 5-0 out of 5 stars Gives You A Fresh Perspective
I've been a long time fan of the Creative Whack Pack. I recently got the Innovative Whack Pack, and have found it to be just as powerful in stimulating my creativity. I especially like the way it combines ancient wisdom with practical creativity techniques.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Fun Companion to the Creative Whack Pack
I'm the creator of this deck, and I had fun putting it together. It's like the Creative Whack Pack in that it has provocative and useful strategies for looking at problems and issues in a fresh way. Also, George Willett has done the illustrations (just as he has done for all of my other products). It differs from the CWP in that the stories and examples are a little longer, and also that each card has a 2,500 year old innovation insight (from Heraclitus) on one side and a creativity strategy on the other. Thus, you can use either side to provoke your thinking. In case you're interested, my two favorite insights in the deck are: "The way up and the way down are one and the same," and, "A thing rests by changing." My favorite way of using the deck is to pick one card at random in the morning, and have it be one of my innovation thoughts of the day. If you enjoyed the Creative Whack Pack, I think you'll get a kick (and some ideas) from the Innovative Whack Pack. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Do you want more proof that ESP exist?
Dean Radin remarkably explains on this book (very well indeed) the ESP phenomena and mind functioning processes pertaining to extrasensory experiences. There is a lot of valuable statistical information about researches and history without making it look like a boring statistical book. Very well written and easy to read. Perhaps for few people this book could be a little bit too much on the statistical side if you are not familiar with probabilities and basic statistics concepts. If you are an non-believer or would like to learn more about ESP this book is definitely for you. I highly recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wood Pencil Tied Into Knot - Pamela Cmon ?
Thanks to the light 4-page autobio, by page 11 you know the author's scientific creds beyond MSEE etc.By page 18 you know psi/entanglement IS science - I hadn't heard about those experiments.
5-0 out of 5 stars A mind-blowing concept from a leader in parapsychological research
Written by the author of the excellent and entertaining book 'The Conscious Universe,' which focused on ESP, 'Entangled Minds' tries to serve two purposes. First, it briefly mentions some of the parapsychological research not covered in his earlier work. Second, it discusses the concept of quantum entanglement, and what it means for psychic phenomena. I had to re-read some sections of this book to understand some of the full implications what he was saying, but once you get it, it's a truly mind-blowing concept. Anyone at all interested in parapsychology has to read this, as it details a whole new theory of howpsychic phenomena occur based on quantum entanglement. If true, it has fascinating implications.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't debate whether you need it or not...just read it
If you're investigating this book, chances are you can benefit greatly from the information. What harm can come from you feeling less shame in your life?None.
5-0 out of 5 stars HEALING that keeps giving...
I bought my edition of Bradshaw's "Healing the Shame that Binds You" in 1988, one year after my experience with The Caron Foundation's ACOA treatment program.
5-0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Starting Point for Recovery
From my own family experiences, I became numb to the world. This made the process of finding a solution difficult because I couldn't even find a starting point for recovery. This book was a fantastic source of enlightenment because it names, very specifically, the varying facets of shame and causes of depression. It helped me really put a finger on what I was wrestling with, and give me a "to-do" list for therapy.I don't think this book on its own will help you actually recover, but it definitely will give you a specific plan of action and greater understanding of how unhealthy behaviors perpetuate through generations.I believe talk therapy is the way to successful recovery because they can recognize unhealthy behaviors that you don't notice.Thankfully, professional therapists truly are a "safe place" to reveal secrets that tied you down.I'd recommend this book to people who felt numb like I did (and do), and need a way to regain some clarity. When you have the courage to face your darkest fears, you will realize it was worth a hundred times the pain in order to feel genuinely happy again. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars I'd give it ten stars if I could

5-0 out of 5 stars It really does point to the end of reincarnation
"The End of Reincarnation" by Gary Renard delivers what the title promises. Of course you have to do the work to make it happen, the forgiveness work, that is. But this isn't the old fashioned idea of forgiveness. It's more in harmony with the new physics than the old, Newtonian physics, which was based on separation. This new kind of forgiveness is based on oneness and wholeness, like quantum physics. I was very impressed by Renard's wide range of spiritual knowledge, his sense of humor, and his explanations of the modern spiritual guide, "A Course in Miracles." He goes into even more detail in his 7 hour set from Sounds True called, "Secrets of the Immortal," but "The End of Reincarnation" is a great introduction to a real method to break the cycle of birth and death, once and for all. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Dr. Pearl's path and gift to us all
This is an easy read, his directness and passion has changed my life as I walk my soul path.He explains how we can tap into this energy to assist others and ourselves in healing mental, spiritual and physical aspects of being human. He also helpsus to understand how ego may hold us back. I was guided to actually attend an oreintation in Washington, DC and met Dr. Pearl. I have taken Reconnective Healing I, II and completed "The Reconnection-Level III"
3-0 out of 5 stars Coming down to earth
When I began reading this book, I too was carried away by Eric Pearl's exuberance and passion. His book is heady stuff.Pearl is very funny, and he is even more persuasive, making some very astute observations of the human condition. The first part of the book - which is largely autobiographical - on the whole resonated well with me, and for this, I could have given 4 stars.
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing!!!
I've never been inspired to write an Amazon review before until I read this book-I've read a lot of books about healing, but not one has resonated with me like Eric Pearl's book. His easy to read and humorous style is exciting and engaging, and I could actually feel my vibration level rising while reading or even discussing the book. This is a life-changing book everyone can benefit from, and unlike many other books about healing 'techniques' Dr. Pearl isn't condescending, preachy or dogmatic. Reconnective Healing is something everyone can do without ritual or exclusive techniques and he makes a big point of that. I was so inspired by his book that I am flying halfway across the country to see him speak...I can't recommend this book enough! If enough people read this perhaps the consciousness of the world will shift in a posititive direction when we realize we're all connected and all empowered to heal. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Cards, but I need more information
These cards are the first Angel Cards I have ever owned. They are so beautiful in every way. But....I need more information for understanding the reading.

3-0 out of 5 stars Big on Content Low on Appeal
I just received these the other day from Amazon and was a bit dissapointed. My previous deck, Goddess Oracle Cards, are so much more colorful and thin and easy to maneuver. I find these photos more drab and the cards are thicks and clumsy. The fonts are not easy on the eye either. But then again, the accuracy is still there. I just don't reach for these as much.

Without vision the people perish said Moses in the desert. And without a vision for your life from a place of higher spiritual self awareness ... you are at risk of getting way off course and living somebody else's idea of whatyour life should be. DO NOT DO THIS! This book was invaluable to me during college and my life purpose still plays out today. 5-0 out of 5 stars Accurate and Informative
This small book is still the most helpful tool for those who wish accurate information about the physical and psychological aspects of alcoholism. The disease of alcoholism is still misunderstood and to many people remains a moral problem or a failure of will power. While there has been progress in the treatment of many diseases over the past 20 years, there has been little change in the outlook for a cure for alcoholism. This book explains the physical and psychological disease in a way that can be easily understood.I have used this book for 22 years and have provided it to persons who wish to recover from the disease, always to good effect. And I am so grateful that it continues to be in print. ... I bought this book not knowing fully what it was all about.I was very surprised to discover that my 3rd grade daughter has been doing these exercies since kidnergarten, just under a different name - Brain Gym.Many exercises are the same, they just have different names such as cross crawl, brain buttons, turning our listening ears on, etc. They have definetly helped her in school. Her teachers have taught them to her, so I am excited to learn the exercises too.

I read this book when it first came out and then loaned it to someone.I never got it back so decided to purchase it again. After reading it the second time, I was just awestruck by how much this book affected me.I have read most of the life after life books by numerous authors. Some are more believable than others but Sylvia Browne's is one of the most believable yet.It is easy to read and understand and you can actually visualize how things probably appear on the other side. One of my favorite parts is the appendix which lists the categories of Life Plans that we use when scripting our earthly incarnations. It is interesting to see how one specific category will jump out at you giving you a better understanding of why your current life is the way it is and also why other people in your lives make the choices that they do.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is exploring the afterlife. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Book
I purchased this book recently. I have found the information in it simply amazing. Within a few days I have noticed an overall sense of well being and improvement to my health. And no I am not connected to the author in any way. It is just a very good book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Life-enhancing and practical
I've had this wonderful book for over 10 years, but only really began to apply the Internal Exercises after a trip to China. I saw a Qi Gong demonstration there and was very impressed, especially by the fact that the Qi Gong master looked all of 25 years old (I'm sure he was in his 40's at least). I began to practice Dr Chang's set of exercises faithfully on returning from the trip and have experienced increased energy, suppleness, better sleep, and clarity of mind. I was able to abandon my use of prescription antihistamines for allergies and now have no symptoms whatever. My nightly headaches, which were requiring nightly Tylenol, have also resolved. My endurance in sports, particularly alpine skiing, has increased without requiring increased preparatory workouts; and if I am diligent at doing the exercises after a workout, I experience no stiffness or soreness (something I'm starting to appreciate as an aging Baby Boomer!).5-0 out of 5 stars Exellent Book for General Health
My son bought me this book about 6 months ago and since then I have been in exellent health through doing the exersises. In my present job I do not have much time to exersise so I use this book to help me maintain a healthy mind and body. I would recommend this book to anyone. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Holiday
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. In here the history of the holiday Halloween is explored as well as the second half is interesting recipes for Halloween goodies. Halloween is actually a neopagan holiday but a lot don't celebrate it because it scares them. Well it doesn't scare me. Finally a book that is a non-condemning tome about the subject. ... Read more

This deck is a gorgeous item. It's absolutely perfect for any fan of Dali, because it gives them 78 original works of art to appreciate and delve into.5-0 out of 5 stars Very Beautiful Deck, HIghly Recommended for Dali fans!
This Tarot deck looks stunning. The Gold Boarders add to the awe of Dali's Paintings. If you like Dali Art these cards are a must for you.If you do not actually use the cards it might be a smart idea to just get the Salvador Dali Tarot Book by Rachel Pollack as everycard is beautifully printed in full size on a full page. That way you not only get to see the cards but also get a little explanation of each.If you cant find the book, get these cards!! Highly Recommended!! Great Deck!!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Delightful Dalinian Delicacy
As a Dali fan and tarot reader, I find these cards to be a sheer joy to view, ponder and read. This deck is a prize for any Dali fan. They are beautiful as well as puzzling. They are not easy to read and shuffle, but it can be done. There appears to be plenty of attitude around this deck. And why not?Dali, after all, was all about attitude. There is a companion book by Rachel Pollack that is good to own if you wish to study these cards. It is out of print, but can be found online. ...
