if you believe that george bush personally trained a group of vampire ghosts at area 51 to fly flying saucers into the wtc on 911, with the help of haliburton, then george noory is your man. remember, gwb was a pilot!!!!!!!
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Book! Inspirational! George Noory Rules!!!
When I first purchased this book my expectations were low. What a pleasent surprise and a great read this book turned out to be. The sub-title is "Unlock Your Five Senses And Liberate Your Limitless Potential", I think it should be called "Unlock Your "SIX" Senses And Liberate Your Limitless Potential".
5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT !! Audio Version
I bought the audio version and the great thing about this book is that it connects many of the topics we hear on Coast. Thanks George !! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good drawings and sex tips
I liked this Kama Sutra because the numerous positions are presented with very good drawings. There are many tips which accompany the positions and even carnal ratings so you will not try ones which are too difficult for your level of fitness and flexibility. I also liked "Why she will like it" part next to each position.
4-0 out of 5 stars The Cosmo Way
I have really enjoyed this book so far.The drawings are excellent, and the fact that there is a "carnal challenge" rating for each position cracks me up.Some of the positions look just the same as others with *extremely* slight differences, but if you read the descriptions, they really are different enough to be very significant.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stick with what feels great & not with what you can contort....
In life we all learn what you can & cannot do, or in this case what feels great & what doesn't, through trial-and-error.If you buy this book, it will be an ERROR.While it may look cool to have it lying around for people to "accidentally" see, an experienced person is probably going to laugh.I'm sorry, but this book is for the younger person who just wants to see how many ways a body part (especially the male's) can bend or TRY to extend. Most of the positions are just repeats drawn from a different angle. Some ARE impossible unless you never want your man to use his "item" again because you helped him break it backwards. Most are just positions...not meant to feel great or even good...just that you can do them but they're not meant for much of anything.I think Cosmo used their name to sell a book...just a book with not much "oomph".My honest advice, coming from older adult experience, save your money and just let nature, & what feels great to you both, take its course. You don't need a book to tell you what should feel good to him (or her).Instead, try just asking the person.I've found that communication is the way to a GREAT sex life! Both of you need to find out what feels great to each other and invent your own various positions from there.... ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Very complete... but very complex
A excellent and serious book about self initiation in the Golden Dawn magic system. But it's very complex too. This big book will teach you a lot of details about magical things and cosmogony, through a one or two year's "evening class".
2-0 out of 5 stars Changes and Errors
There are some gross errors in this book (especially in the artwork) that make me wonder as to the real accomplishments and attainments of the authors. The errors are such that I don't believe them to be intentional blinds. The Cicero's have removed nearly all traces of the Judeao-Christian Masonic themes from the Golden Dawn and have emphasized the Egyptian and Neo-Pagan.In doing so, key mystical truths have been omitted.
5-0 out of 5 stars Self Initiation into the Golden Dawn...
This is a keystone piece of modern literature for the Western Esoteric Tradition. Not for the faint of heart, this tome encloses prodigious knowledge from around the world and throughout the ages.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great book
This book is very useful.Scott Cunningham's books are wonderful. He knew his stuff, and was very thorough when compiling the information. This book tells how to make incense, different oils for ritual, herbal charms, sachets, powders, soaps, and lots of other stuff. It's a great book for the kitchen witch because it's a wonderful reference book. And as with all of his books, he adds charts for substitutions, sabbats, days, seasons, and just correspondences for each oil and herb.I highly recommend this book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Mother Earth's Majik
I am discovering the enjoyment and knowledge from this book.I think the forklore is interesting, but since I have just begun I feel this book will be a winter project to create some of the oils and such the I would would like to make.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book and Very Informative
I found this book very informative for those wishing to make their own brews and potions. I enjoyed reading it and have put some of the formulas into action. I use the oils and soaps when I'm feeling the need to recharge. Also great information on herbs and such. If you're into making your own things and using them or giving them as gifts then this book is for you. You won't go wrong buying this book. ... Read more

This is an excellent companion to the Satanic Bible. It is very user friendly.

5-0 out of 5 stars Brilliance inteachings of the Left-Hand Path!!!!!!!!!
The Satanic Rituals written by the world famous founder of organized and modern authentic Satanism is a magnificent collection "PRINCIPLES" and authentic Black Mass Rituals and other Occult Philosophies.Like all other books by Magus La Vey it is devoid of useless gibberish and rhetoric! This book is highly well written in terms of the book's content, theme, structure, etc. This is REQUIRED READING for the REAL novice SATANIST or the REAL advanced WIZARD or WITCH of the Left-Hand PATH!!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars a good guide on practicing satanism.
i think the rituals/ceremonies are original. the only thing i don't like about this book was how Mr. LaVey didn't give some clue as to when the Black Mass or Das Tierdrama were to be performed. i also don't like how LaVey didn't tell you what chemicals to use to make the flame for the Call to Cthulhu ritual black or how he didn't show what special sigils to use in some of the rituals that didn't use the baphomet for the participant(s)to wear during the ritual. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Good, butneed corrections !
I got the book today and just a few minutes of skimming it I found an important mistake( maybe a publisher's fault) : The sigil of Och (pg. 339)is printed with the Phaleg's one and vice-versa pg.370 . I hope I don't find another big errors since someone uses this book to practice without consulting other ones would be lead to a grave mistake and perhaps serious problems since these sigils are used in talismans among other things in cerimonial magic, for example. The author asks to let him know about any incorrections and I wil do that. So my tip is take care with this good book since more faults may be present !

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have for any serious occultist

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredible reference book and work of art.
NO Pagan, Witch, Occulist, Magickian or Philosopher should be without this book. There is NO EXCUSE. This is the most phoenomenal book of its kind. JMG must have spent years creating this. I have never found a more helpful, clear yet complete guide for the Occult sciences and all things Pagan. This cleared more things up for me than many other books ever could. This is brilliant. 3-0 out of 5 stars Alot of information...
If you are interested of the teaching of the Kama Sutra in a no pectoral version, then this book will teach you every thing you have ever wanted to know about Kama Sutra, just with all those dirty pictures.

2-0 out of 5 stars disappointed
More of a research tool.Unless your planning on becoming a "kept woman" or keeping one half the book is useless--doesn't pertain much to a married couple.Completely disappointed.

5-0 out of 5 stars Culture, history, and practice
This is an outstanding new translation of the Indian classic, dating from the fourth century BC. It is widely misunderstood in the west, largely by people who never read it, but also by people who only read Burton's unfortunate Victorian translation. Well over 500 pages, this may seem intimidating - I promise you, it's worth your effort.

5-0 out of 5 stars Though it's not really an "Oracle," it's still a beautiful deck
Being a big collector of Tarot and other Oracles and Divination tools, and being a Wiccan who's ruled by the Element of Water, I was completely fascinated that the writer of "The Hidden Messages of Water" had an Oracle, and excited at all the potential it has.I thought this would be right up my alley.Well, it is right up my alley, but not in the way I had expected or previously hoped. 3-0 out of 5 stars Water Crystal Oracle

5-0 out of 5 stars it's a good start
I've been reading for years now, but my daughter is just starting to get interested so I picked this deck up for her. Granted, she's 10. I wasn't going to start her off with the Thoth deck. Anyway, I think this is a great idea and I've never come across an easier teaching deck. The bottom line is, we all have to start somewhere. I would much rather see people pick up this deck and see if they like reading (not everyone uses this form of divination), than have them be intimidated forever and never try to read at all. This is a great place to start, and it removes a lot of the frustration beginning readers encounter. Of course you'll have to delve more deeply into the meanings. That goes without saying. A reader who doesn't start using his/her own tuition will stagnate and will never find meaning in the cards. This deck gives a good start on the path to the myriad meanings one can get from the tarot.

1-0 out of 5 stars Gave it away
Sorry, i hated it.Hardly any translation at all.As a beginner it was useless to me.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good quality, not sure about the meanings...
I liked the quality of the cards, and the colors are very nice as well. For beginners it's a good deck because comes with the meanings, but I'm not so sure how much they really help after a few readings. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Entertaning and well written but off base
Now, I agree with about 80% of the things the author is skeptical about.I mean, I don't believe in them too. However, the hair starts to go up on the back of my neck when yet another Western white guy dismisses every cultural belief that is not his.The definitions of many items discussed are not even remotely correct too.It reminds me of when a born again Christian rips apart every single world religion because they know the "truth."What are you supposed to gather from this, that all indigenous people and other cultures are stupid because they aren't backed by a US drug company? Acupuncture is really a dangerous delusion? That gets real old. It's a little 1860 pioneer type thinking to me.I think if I were actually interested in a topic such as Chinese medicine I may rather go to better sources than one Western guy's 2 paragraph dismissive definition.Kudos to the author, it must be nice to know absolutely everything about absolutely everything and be able to discard it all in favor of Western thought in one book. ;)

1-0 out of 5 stars It's funny how completely false he can get.
I can't remember if Doctor Wallach is mentioned in his book or not but the other day I came across this man's site, promoting his book. He had a listing there about Doctor Joel Wallach. Within the first sentence he said that Wallach claims that all diseases are a result of mineral deficiency! Amazing...this is how he calls Wallach a quack? With a complete and total LIE. That's right. See I have Wallach's books. My family takes his supplements. I am part of Wallach's company email: Ekowal459@aol.com to discuss it further if you're inclined, etc. Now, I have also listened to DOCTOR Wallach's seminars in about 20 different variations and have health successes of my own as a result of him. Never once does Dr. Wallach [BS,DVM+ND] or his Wife Dr. Ma Lan [A Microsurgeon MD with a Masters in Science and liscensed Acupuncturist], ever come within the neighborhood of saying that all diseases are caused by mineral deficiency! This is insane and completely untrue. Furthermore he discredits Wallach for calling himself a physician by the implication that a Naturopathic doctor is NOT a physician on the grounds that he is NOT A MEDICAL DOCTOR. Once again a moron who can't understand how someone who's primary means of health care for patients is not pharmaceuticals can be a legitimate Doctor. So by his standards Osteopaths are not Physicians? No one can heal anyone else unless they dispence pharmaceuticals? Oh that's right, Naturopaths can dispense pharmaceuticals in state's which allow it...like the one Wallach trained and worked in...interesting. And Wallach does recommend some pharmaceuticals where prudent...he's not a lunatic. He talks about what an outrage his claims are? Such an outrage... I have one of his seminars on tape where he is speaking to 200 DOCTORS. Why would they even show up? This man tries to discredit Doctor Wallach and that which he says which aren't lies are just foolish arguments that make him look like the con artist or just plain ignorant of his subject [Wallach, Naturopathy, Health...etc. Don't waste your time on this man's books. I won't even talk about the positive points in this book that actually have merit because as far as I'm concerned his ranting about Doc Wallach on his site... and in the book, I seem to recall, discredits everything else period.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good book
This is a good book for a rainy day, because it is a lot to absorb. But I really like this book. 5-0 out of 5 stars A mind expanding book-Top notch!
Dr. Mack is brilliant in this book!He is most interested in how a person's life changes as a result of their anomolous experiences, mainly encounters with other worldly beings. These "experiencers" seem to have a jump start on the rest of us mortals, in terms of understanding the vastness of which we come from, and which we will return. An excellent book for anyone seeking to get closer to the TRUTH.

3-0 out of 5 stars Worthwhile read, but flawed conclusions.
Mack's done an overall good job pretaining to the UFO/abduction phenomena.I take exception however to his take home message that most if not all of the abduction experience is actually directly related to alien abduction and moreover that the aliens are benevolent and have our best interests at heart.
5-0 out of 5 stars Enemies?Or Friends?
These many reviews are interesting. It seems that the negative reviewers are offended at the idea - the very idea! - that aliens might actually be helping humanity. No, such reviewers seem more comfortable with the idea that aliens are out to destroy humanity, no doubt about it.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Success does not equal happiness.
I read in one of the Harvard Business Review Journal series how people learn best by reading or listening. Most are a combination of both but we all tend to one side or the other. If your a listener and your ready for a life change then you owe it to yourself to listen to these disks. They are mesmerizing and refreshing. So much of career books and tapes today are all about setting goals, listing accomplishments, competeing, negotiating, conquering.I think a reflection of our culture in America. The success oriented approach may get you a great paying job but will it make you happy? When I first started listening to Rick I tried to understand what his main point was.And this is what I came up with - success does not equal happiness. Not writing down goals, wandering, following a whim, getting lost in a project that has no apparent meaning or rational may be the beginning of something magnificent. That is not a quote just some added thoughts about the audio book. Thanks Rick.

5-0 out of 5 stars Alternative to Conventional "Job Hunting"
Rick Jarow provides a much-needed alternative to the conventional "write a winning resume" and "knock 'em dead in your job interview" approach to finding a livelihood. Most career seekers are told to HUNT for a job -- i.e., use the hunter-gatherer model to find a position that just happens to be open at the specific time you are looking for a job.Once you've bagged yourself a job, then you are expected to mold yourself to fit the parameters your new employer wants you to fit into.Jarow advocates an more organic approach where finding a job is an outgrowth of creating a life that is right for you.As you associate with people/organizations whose values resonate with you, you will eventually connect with people who can steer you towards work that fits YOU.It is the difference between showing off a series of stuffed, mounted trophies on a wall as opposed to a lush, colorful garden you've cultivated yourself to represent your life's work.

5-0 out of 5 stars I recommend the audio tapes over the paperback...
I bought "Creating the Work You Love" about a year ago. It clicked with me. He's writing for people who come to life from a spiritual perspective, and have grown fairly skillful at that side of life, but are awkwardly deficient in the nitty gritty of reality. Jarow understands that the nitty gritty is also spiritual, and so he approaches the good old question of jobs and career from a wise and spiritual place, plucking examples inspirations from both Eastern and Western ancient traditions (although he organizes the process through the system of the chakras), but also from history and popular culture and his own life and counseling practice.Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Making Talismans
A book filled with wonderful information. However! I was a little disappointed when it only had a few chapters in the end that was solely on making these talismans. I really would have liked a more organized and systematic approach to talismans right in the first chapter. I also didn't like the way the author referred to things all around the book for example... "to do this you must go to this chapter and to do that you must go to this chapter," ehh... BUT! I am greatful because the talismans do work. I would've liked a better approach to their creation though. Hope this helps.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Book
Gotta tell ya, if you enjoy crafting Magical items and talismans just happen to be one of them, then you'll want to get this book.
5-0 out of 5 stars Really useful
Making Talismans is a very clear well written, and well researched book. It covers an extremely difficult subject well.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not what i expected
This book did not have any useful information on Indigo children. It paraphrased other authors throughout the whole book and named various organizations throughout the US that people have started for Indigo kids. No real use to the average reader.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not as much information as I expected.
It wasn't really what I expected. It was a fast read and didn't contain a lot of information.I expected more of Edgar Cayce's work or views on the subject. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars INCOMPLETE
I very much enjoyed Mr. Grimassi's "The Wiccan Mysteries" and was looking forward to reading his "Encyclopedia of Wicca and Witchcraft." However, I was very disappointed to find very few of my favorite wiccan authors (i.e. Laurie Cabot, Gerina Dunwich, and other "non-Llewellyns") listed among this who's who of the witchcraft world. In my opinion, to be a definitive encyclopedia of wicca and witchcraft, ALL prominent members of the wiccan community should be included, and not just the ones who write books for Llewellyn. For a more better resource of pagan biographies, I would have to recommend Raymond Buckland's "The Witch Book" (Publisher: Visible Ink Press).

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best I've Seen
Grimassi's book is unquestionably the ultimate and definitive work on the topic of modern Wicca and Witchcraft. The author covers every relevant topic related to the Craft, and provides the reader with leads to other topics that further enhance one's understanding of Wicca and Witchcraft. No other Wiccan/Witchcraft encyclopedia in print today can match the depth and scope of this single volume.3-0 out of 5 stars GOOD BUT NOT GREAT
I guess I'm the only one who doesn't think this book is the best thing since sliced bread!Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An occult classic
Every student of occult sciences should have this volume of work in their occult library. It is one of the "bread and butter" grimoires of Western Occultism. A lot of occult philosophical teachings that developed after the age of Agrippa have their foundation in H.C. Agrippa's writings. I am always amazed Agrippa developed such a large and vast body of magickal knowledge as well as knowledge of the natural world. His writings are not easily understood in some chapters but this book is not meant to be read "novel style". It is an occult textbook and one must read it as such.
5-0 out of 5 stars The best book on Occultism
I just purchase Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosphy and I must say so far it has been one of, if not the best, book I've read on occultism, magic, or western occulticism/religion/metaphysics.Here are a few of the things that really impressed me:
5-0 out of 5 stars The Timeless Masterwork of the Arch-Magus
Cornelius Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy - a volume which is literally worth a barrow-load of today's contrived and wearisome pseudo-esoteric tomes. All the more amazing when you consider that this towering encyclopedic exposition of the Renaissance Magical Tradition was written when Agrippa Von Nettesheim was but 23 years old - clearly a 'fiery genius' as Erasmus termed him.Herein Agrippa guides the student through the three realms of the universe unfolding the Magical mysteries and technical lore along the way in fulsome and fascinating detail, ascending the Platonic Chain of Being from the sublunary or Natural World, through the astral and mathematical harmonies of the Celestial World high into the archetypal realms of Demons, Angels, Spirits and Gods in the Divine World, winging ever upwards beyond all multiplicity toward the unio mystica with the transcendent One, the Summum Bonum or Agathon of Plotinian philosophy.

Editorial Review

This book is as voluminous as its title, and no matter what type of magic you practice, or even if you just study it, it is an indispensable book with a wealth of useful intelligence on all Eastern and Western forms of magic. Bill Whitcomb also graciously provides contact information for areas that are not covered. Any serious student of magic can appreciate the expense of research time, and this book will help minimize the research, thereby allowing more time for your workings. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars What every magician should have on hir shelf.
I actually read through this entire book. It's mainly meant to be used as a resource guide, but in my personal opinion, anyone who wants to use it for that purpose should read through it once to get an idea of what Whitcomb covers. It is one of the most in-depth correspondance guides I've read. Whitcomb also offers coherent brief explanations on the various systems he writes about. Whether this book is for a beginner or an experienced it has something for everyone and should be one of the few books any magician is required to purchase.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Reference and Symbol Source
I loved this book because it is organized in such a neat way (numbers within systems) and because of the wealth of information it covers. The only disappointing thing is that it didn't go very deep into some of the systems I know I am interested in at least, such as runes or the ogham. However, it is undeniable that this is a necessary addition to the working magician's library, and shouldn't be missed!

5-0 out of 5 stars All Somebody needs to start into occult!
This is like occult for dummies, the information is so well explained and placed. There is sooo much to read in this very thick book. I love how he recommends certain books to research in the certain occult fields. If there was a occult 101 class I would bet the book required would be this book! ... Read more
