5-0 out of 5 stars A Perfect End to the CWG Trilogy
I have really enjoyed reading all of the books in the Conversations With God trilogy.I've found that they've led me to consider "new" possibilites, expand my thought processes, and ultimately to look at my life & the lives in others in a whole new light.
5-0 out of 5 stars God's Friend
God has told us that there are 2 emotions: Love and Fear. Those people that put love in their hearts will understand and accept what God has told us through these books. Those people that put fear in their hearts will continue to be afraid of change and find it easier to blame others for their decisions in the lives that they have created for themselves.
2-0 out of 5 stars The Book Wars
I read all three Conversations with God books and enjoyed each of them. I think there is much of God in the words.

I'm not the type to write reviews on anything but I would be a fool if I did not. This book is excellent and has enhanced my relationship with my partner. I highly recommend this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Newbie with lots to learn
It never occured to me that Happy and Lesbian could be in the same sentence. Through the support I have recieved and this book I now believe it is possible. This book is a whole relationship guide which is cool. Not many books take you from how to meet them to how to live with them. The history and terminology and everything included makes it a very helpful and well rounded book for everyone not just those coming out ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent ... a bit over the fantasy side at the end ...
But nevertheless, if correct, a very worth reading. disturbing... I've been reading a lot over these last months on the UFO topic and this book is paramount lecture. Anyway, there is a conclusion, proposed by Greer and some of the witnesses he interviews, stating the UFOS /ET are good beings and USA govt. is provoking them as they shoot them down, harrass them, etc. I digress ! They cannot have good intentions if they intrude our territory, mutilate our animals, abduct people, etc.I think that in drawing such conclusions the book fails in being objective and with common sense. That is why I give it 4 stars only.

5-0 out of 5 stars Disclosure.....5 stars easy!!
Hard to put down, difficult to condemn, almost impossible to ignore!!...Steven Greer has gone where others haven't had the balls, and placed his reputation on the line to bring the truth out...congratulations!! This is a fantastically researched book covering all facets of the U.F.O. phenomenon and a must read for everyone interested in the TRUTH.Whether or not this will be revealed to us in the near future is another matter, but the fact that extraterrestrial intelligence exists is no longer a question,it's just waiting to be proven en masse.Fantastic reading!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Massive, Barely Edited Compendium of Sometimes Tantalizing Stories
Dr. Steven Greer is a well-known figure on the fringe of UFOlogy, and he claims to have "briefed" senior government figures on the UFO issue, but five minutes with this book reveals why few take the issue seriously.

5-0 out of 5 stars A MUST for Energy Workers
Anyone working in holistic healing in regard to energy work will benefit greatly from this "classic" reference in their library. Just the pictures alone are enough to learn from. This is a "must have" for all energy workers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent tutorial
The author of this book is an amazing healer. There are not many like her in this world and her book is on my number one list of recommendations for anyone who wants to learn energetic healing. I use her techniques in my healing classes. I have a great respect for her work even though I have never met her!
5-0 out of 5 stars Deepen your self-knowledge
I first read this book many years ago and it is one of the few I keep in my library. It has excellent information about energy healing. I especially learned a lot from the descriptions and information about the personality types. Most books address types in terms of psychology only, but this book adds the spiritual and energetic dimensions.Hands of Light greatly deepened my self-knowledge and helped me understand others better as well.An important book for spiritual awareness. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The best Gift Ever...
I received this book as a gift for my birthday from a friend of mine, and had no clue what to expect when I read it. I sat down and read through it in one sitting and couldn't put it down. I then read it aloud to my boyfriend and my daughter and my son... and I sent excerpts of it to several of my online friends telling them they needed to buy this book. It's touching and emotional - but so powerful and beautifully written. I could not recommend this book enough - it's simply the best gift I've ever been given.

5-0 out of 5 stars A most remarkable book
The Invitation helped me understand how I can enhance my own life when I embrace all of life -- as it is -- not as I want it to be. I have sent copies to my friends, children and grandchildren.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully thought provoking!
This poem has resonated with me for several years now. I appreciated Mountain Dreamer's honest explanation into what was behind this powerful poem was. It is not often that we get such insight into what situations inspire such works of art.

5-0 out of 5 stars chock full of freedom
I found this book to be easily read, yet contain some fairly complex ideas. The stories and experiences presented as evidence for remote viewing and the extra-material senses of the human mind were fascenating. If you're interested at all in remoteviewing, or even just evidence for science actually "trying" to break into the spiritual, then it's a good book for you.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Introduction to the Limitless Possibilities of Mind and Spirit
I found Limitless Mind to be an exceptional introduction to the study of consciousness and psychic abilities. The book describes many studies relating to fascinating topics such as remote viewing, distance/spiritual healing, precognition, and the fluidity of time and space. It describes the theory that time and space are "nonlocal."This theory suggests that it is an illusion that we occupy a specific area of space at a specific time. But in fact "each region of space-time contains information about every other point in space-time" (8).This is to "suggest that all of space-time is available to your consciousness, right where you are" (5).Or in other words "the whole universe is in some way enfolded in everything, and that each thing is enfolded in the whole" (8).And this would explain the phenomena of remote-viewing where a person describes a place or an object from a distance in which that person could have no sensory perception of the object. In remote viewing you're simply clearing your mind of all the "mental noise" (thoughts, memories, sounds, etc...) constantly running through your head thereby tapping into that part of you that is connected with the universe. Then by focusing your attention on a particular place or object you can access any point in space-time and bring it to your awareness. 4-0 out of 5 stars Interesting, but Not Quite What I Expected...
This book left me with a vague feeling of unease. It was as if I were on the edge of a great enlightenment and then...the book ended. There is some interesting material on Remote Viewing, but you should note that you need at least one partner to practice for the most part.Since this is not a topic of much interest in the Midwest, I don't think I'll be able to practice much.

5-0 out of 5 stars ****An Excellent Eye Opener!!!****
James' exploration into early psychic phenomenon investigation is fascinating, and Blum nails his research, his life, and his discoveries in a well written, informative, entertaining fashion. An excellent book, and a must read for anyone even remotely interested in the possibilities of life after death.
5-0 out of 5 stars The History of a Quest
An excellent, insightful and poetic book that provides historical insights into the founding and early years of both the Psychical Research Society in the UK and its American counter-part.Moreover it's a biographical study focusing on William James as the personal lens by which to view the lives and dedication of the initial founders of these organizations and the pioneering work they began. The historical/biographical efforts along these lines has been sorely needed for sometime.Nothing in contemporary parapsychological literature quite compares to Ms. Blum's work.
5-0 out of 5 stars ***** Let The Truth Be Known ... Finally! *****
No one that reads this book, I must assume initially, will ever be as happy as I am for finding this text, thanks to the review of Michael E. Tymn.

5-0 out of 5 stars Freedom from Mara (Illusion)
This is an interesting dimension on the 12-steps which were Christian in origin and spiritual in nature. One Breath at a Time is a Buddhist slant on the one day at a time approach in recovery. One primary lesson from Buddhist philosophy is that attachment and craving are at the root of suffering. Addiction is both an attachment and a craving whose compulsions take over and trap an individual in an endless cycle. Whether the addiction is to a substance or a behavior the illusion that it frees the person from pain is what mara is ... a mirage promising bounties that are empty. So ... for those who are interested in other perspectives of recovery - this is one read to consider.

5-0 out of 5 stars Recommended
This book is well written and easy to read.I relapsed with 13+ years in a 12 step program and having a difficult time getting reconnected. As someone with Buddhist leanings who never quite bridged the gap between the steps and Buddhism I found this book to be of great help.If you are even remotely interested in working the 12 steps from a Buddhist perspective I highly recommend this book.

1-0 out of 5 stars A very shallow puddle
About 8 months ago, during a very bad "flu-experience", I had a great afternoon reading all the negative reviews on 'The Alchemist' and this little gem. And although I was warned, I just HAD to find out for myself (some stubborn people just never learn, do they): could this book really be as awful as these reviewers said it is? And the answer is YES.

Coelho is a master of the words and he doesn't fail to show that even in this book. His storytelling is flowing and never overwhelming or boring.

4-0 out of 5 stars A classic in the field
Moody is critical enough about what is going on that he makes a good investigator into the NDE phenomenon. There are too many flakes in the field and too many people aiming to crown themselves as spiritual gurus via their claim of having revelations during an NDE. Moody quite simply surveys people who have this experience and notes their similarities and differences. Then, he tries to put it into perspective - how might it be explained physically, psychologically, spiritually? What other phenomenon produce experiences that overlap with some of the ones reported in NDEs (e.g. high-gravity simulators)?
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book!
This book is perfect for those who are just starting to read about Near Death Experiences. While I was reading this book, I kept thinking of how amazing it must have been when this was first published...because at the time, there had not been anything written like this!Once you read "Life After Life", you need to read "Lessons From The Light" by Kenneth Ring...because Kenneth Ring goes in to much greater detail about the actual near death experiences people had, and also goes in depth about how it forever changed their lives once they returned."Lessons From The Light" made a huge impression on me! Both books are A+++++

3-0 out of 5 stars An in-depth look into death and dying...

Want to meditate? Can't meditate. Tried to meditate? Can't meditate. Gave up on ever meditating ... until I found this book in the bookstore (or it found me!). 5-0 out of 5 stars Do you want more proof that ESP exist?
Dean Radin remarkably explains on this book (very well indeed) the ESP phenomena and mind functioning processes pertaining to extrasensory experiences. There is a lot of valuable statistical information about researches and history without making it look like a boring statistical book. Very well written and easy to read. Perhaps for few people this book could be a little bit too much on the statistical side if you are not familiar with probabilities and basic statistics concepts. If you are an non-believer or would like to learn more about ESP this book is definitely for you. I highly recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wood Pencil Tied Into Knot - Pamela Cmon ?
Thanks to the light 4-page autobio, by page 11 you know the author's scientific creds beyond MSEE etc.By page 18 you know psi/entanglement IS science - I hadn't heard about those experiments.
5-0 out of 5 stars A mind-blowing concept from a leader in parapsychological research
Written by the author of the excellent and entertaining book 'The Conscious Universe,' which focused on ESP, 'Entangled Minds' tries to serve two purposes. First, it briefly mentions some of the parapsychological research not covered in his earlier work. Second, it discusses the concept of quantum entanglement, and what it means for psychic phenomena. I had to re-read some sections of this book to understand some of the full implications what he was saying, but once you get it, it's a truly mind-blowing concept. Anyone at all interested in parapsychology has to read this, as it details a whole new theory of howpsychic phenomena occur based on quantum entanglement. If true, it has fascinating implications.

And that includes ALL women-loving-women, bi, genderqueer, transgendered, intersexed - you name it, this book is inclusive for all. Heck, even the men that pick it up can always use more education - and this manual doesn't discriminate. To which, I say hell yeah! Too many sex guides don't take into account the wide spectrum of human sexuality. Not true for this book. Hands-on, and that should be taken quite literally, this is one of the best sex guides out there for those who desire to put the heat back in the bedroom, or for those just getting started in the wondrous world of loving women.

5-0 out of 5 stars gentle, caring and informative
This book is full of valuable information for anyone, regardless of their sexual orientation. A helpful guide for individuals who are interested in learning more about themselves and others.

5-0 out of 5 stars LOTS of info for one book, and that's a good thing
I thought before I read this book that I would know most of what was in it already...but I had no idea of the scope of what was inside. I'm impressed. The authors went from a to z, not leaving any stone unturned. The chapters on anatomy, safe sex and making love are well written. And I personally am glad they included the chapters on communication, abuse, counselling, etc. The rights & discrimination section, especially Heterosexual Privileges, I found intriguing. It is obviously based on life in the USA, and as the authors are Americans, that would make sense. Things are a little different here in Canada, but there are still some similarities. Including the list of resources at the end of the book was a great idea...I'm sure many people will find this helpful. I'm positive that many people will find the WHOLE book helpful. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A mirror to my soul
I cherish this book and I read it over and over again .The work of a brilliant woman who becomes ones voice for one so silent . You find yourself agreeing with the author and learning to love the instinctual gifts we as women possess. It is a book for every woman who feels the injustice of a world which undervalues us .
5-0 out of 5 stars Read IT, LOVED IT 12 years ago and still do
When I see young women who don't trust their gut feelings, who don't envision their full potential, who allow abuse, who lack self-confidence, I WISH THEY WOULD READ "Women Who Run With Wolves."This is not an "easy read," but DO READ IT and become a powerful woman on the inside -- a woman whose soul is steady and strong -- a "Wild Woman."The author of this book taught me the wisdom and lessons of ancient "fairy tales."This author taught me to strengthen my core, my soul, trust my own wisdom, listen to myself and stand tall and firm and strong.

4-0 out of 5 stars Syvia Browne has the spiritual experiences to back up her book.
What good is there to write a book about the hereafter if it is only speculation?
1-0 out of 5 stars good book but all lies
i purchased this book several years ago and enjoyed it immensely.and after seeing her on montel williams and hearing her on coast so coast am with art bell, i was completely hooked. what a truly amazing gift she has, right?i even went as far as booking a reading with her.the reading came and went. . . and absolutely nothing she said came true.while the book was a fun read, i learned a rather expensive lesson and will never again waste my money on anything that has to do with sylvia browne.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love This Book
I read this book when it first came out and then loaned it to someone.I never got it back so decided to purchase it again. After reading it the second time, I was just awestruck by how much this book affected me.I have read most of the life after life books by numerous authors. Some are more believable than others but Sylvia Browne's is one of the most believable yet.It is easy to read and understand and you can actually visualize how things probably appear on the other side. One of my favorite parts is the appendix which lists the categories of Life Plans that we use when scripting our earthly incarnations. It is interesting to see how one specific category will jump out at you giving you a better understanding of why your current life is the way it is and also why other people in your lives make the choices that they do.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is exploring the afterlife. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Halloween Traditions, Divinations, Recipes, Crafts and More
"Harvest moon, velvet sky, pumpkins glowing, children laughing, costumes, candy, snapping breezes...scary stories, Indian corn, haunted houses, smiling scarecrows, blowing leaves...apples, parties, spindly spiders, dancing bats, grinning ghosts, sparkling stars...hayrides, dances, screeching cats, big bonfires...just where did this autumn gaiety begin?" - Silver RavenWolf
5-0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Holiday
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. In here the history of the holiday Halloween is explored as well as the second half is interesting recipes for Halloween goodies. Halloween is actually a neopagan holiday but a lot don't celebrate it because it scares them. Well it doesn't scare me. Finally a book that is a non-condemning tome about the subject. ... Read more
