Editorial Review

Blasphemy! Heresy! Who does this man think he is, claiming to speak directly to God?! Jesus did it, Muhammad did it, the Jewish prophets did it, but none of their Gods had the sardonic wit or raw verve of Prophet Walsch's God. Neale Donald Walsch isn't claiming to be the Messiah of a new religion, just a frustrated man who sat down one day with pen in his hand and some tough questions in his heart. As he wrote his questions to God, he realized that God was answering them... directly... through Walsch's pen. The result, far from the apocalyptic predictions or cultic eccentricities you might expect, turns out to be matter-fact, in-your-face wisdom on how to get by in life while remaining true to yourself and your spirituality. ... Editorial Review

Psychiatry and metaphysics blend together in this fascinating book based on a true case history. Dr. Weiss, who was once firmly entrenched in a clinical approach to psychiatry, finds himself reluctantly drawn into past-life therapy when a hypnotized client suddenly reveals details of her previous lives. During one hypnosis session his client introduces the spirit guides who have been her soul therapists in between lives. This is when the story really takes off for Weiss, who discovers that these guides have specific messages about his dead son as well as Weiss's mission in life. No, we cannot verify the truth of this story using the limited scientific tools we have available. However, it is hard to dispute that this well-respected graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School has discovered a personal truth that has led him to be an enormously popular speaker, author, and leader in the field of past-life therapy. 5-0 out of 5 stars Very Good Book...
Many Lives, Many Masters left me with an unquenchable thirst to continue reading on the subject of past-life regression therapy. It also left me with a sense of peace and a comfort to know that higher beings are available if we should have the courage to call on them. I am a believer, not because of this book, but because of significant personal experiences. This book assisted in the further confirmation of my believes even when these are not shared by others, which is ok. It just means that they will learn when their time is right, no more, no less...

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Reference Book!
This book has been invaluable to me for years. In coming across an animal in life or in dreams, I have derived much insight from the lifecyle and meaning of the animal, and have applied the lessons to my own life.Whether it was a blue jay dying in front of me, or an elephant communicating with me at the circus, we co-exist with the animals on this blue planet and need to hear what they are saying.I also recommend "From the Horses Mouth" by Amelia Kincade, as the best book on animal communication I have read.

5-0 out of 5 stars Valuable Resource
I have been clutching my copy of Animal Speak for many years now.I am coming today to purchase the workbook which I just discovered and wanted to write a quick review for this amazing book.
5-0 out of 5 stars Nature speaks to you through animal sightings.
I received this book as a gift after a red tailed hawk made a visit to me every day for a week.In this book, according to Native American traditions, animals relate to us because everything in the earth is connected. There are messages being sent to us by these sightings.A fox runs out across the road (and hopefully, you miss it) not once, but three times?Red tailed hawk sitting on a street light along the highway every day for a week? All of a sudden, a squirrel comes to your yard and does something that catches your attention that you never noticed before? All of that has a message to you and you alone.I recently purchased two of these books as gifts for my sisters. And, they have shared it with their friends who have had similar sightings.Sounds kookie, I know, but it actually will make sense to you when the message is meant for you. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Something to ponder before heading down an endless road
Even though Houdini's book refers to spiritualism tricks, the book could be a must read for the many gulliable people out there more than ready and willing to part with their money for a chance to talk to their deceased loved ones.In today's "psychic" world we are bombarded with cold readers without any aids other thanthere rapid talk and generalistic "messages from the other side" yet Houndini's book is a warning of sorts and we could use his help in today's world with these so called "psychics". Houndini's work is not complete since we need other talented and honest individuals such as he to face off with the charletans we have now a days.I'll say that Houndini's work is extremely valuable and I highly respect him for giving of his time toinvestigate fraud.

5-0 out of 5 stars Houdini exposes mediums' and spiritualists' methods
Houdini spent a long time and much anguish trying to contact the spirit of a dead family member.Mediums were very popular in his time. This book is his exposure of them as frauds.Great anecdotes, interesting methods described, amusing and fascinating.Highlights include his role in the Scientific American investigative committee, and the many interactions with Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle.Easy reading. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The one that changed my life
It's hard to maintain an appropriate scientific skepticism when you find a book that has no epidemiological basis but manages to answer all of your most vexing life questions. This is the book that just "clicked" with me.
5-0 out of 5 stars Brings great peace of mind.
This book does more than any other book I have read to ensure peace of mind for those contemplating their own death or the death of a loved one. It gives detailed histories of soul progress from the time of death up to the choice of the next birth. The detail is convincing, and it fits with my extensive study of metaphysical literature on spiritual development and reincarnation. The stories carry more credibility because they come from a skeptical hypnotherapist who got into regression therapy to help people with behavior problems, and developed techniques for regressing the client to the cause of the problem. At first he was getting mainly childhood events, then he got a case involving a past life. In following his own curiosity, he learned to take clients through their death scene and into the various phases of life between lives. Thus far I have bought about 8 copies to share with friends, and have told many more about it. Don't miss it!

5-0 out of 5 stars A vivid, memorable account of a long-time psychic.
Sylvia Browne's INSIGHT: CASE FILES FROM THE PSYCHIC WORLD comes from a best-selling author who here provides stories about her career giving psychic readings. Some fifty years of such readings contribute to a well-rounded survey of how she's changed lives, how her psychic gifts work, and how she has built a career based upon them. A vivid, memorable account of a long-time psychic.

5-0 out of 5 stars Knowledge is Power , a MUST READ!
Alot of folks love to criticize Bill Cooper. I personally think he was reporting truths from his experiences & information he got his hands on.He claims right up front that some info may not be accurate. He NEVER claims to be 100% accurate, and gives you his sources for the info, not just opinions. He took a stand to expose secret information he felt the public should know.Whether you agree with him or not, you've got to respect the man. He fought to get this book published & ultimately lost his life holding on to that "stand".It's risk-takers like him that gives us knowledge & information to see hidden truths.Thank you & God Bless you, Bill.Rest in Peace.

5-0 out of 5 stars your headed in the right direction...
This book is not for those who wish to continue living their monotonous and stressful lifestyles. This is meant to make you aware and to further draw your own conclusions.Critical thinkers only!!
3-0 out of 5 stars Interesting read! But don't rely on Google to discount this author!
I just want to say that this book allows you to draw your OWN conclusions from information a man was able to provide andbecause of that..i find this book interesting and a good read.As for his death, all deaths that look suspicious are NEVER suspicious. As for going on Google to find out about the "real" Cooper; let it be said that you need to do alot more research on someone than going to Google to take something as FACT! Google is NOT the most reliable source, it is simply what it is; A SOURCE OF INFORMATION. The book is worth the read. Especially the part of the book that speaks about FEMA; any one heard of LA riots, Katrina? He speaks on FEMA's role very candidly and we can use both these instances as to how true he was in this area of his book. But don't base your knowledge or interest on any of our reviews...read the book for yourself and make your own conclusion of an interesting read, ENJOY! ... Read more

Jayme Barrett has written a book on feng shui that is highly informative, readable, easy to use, and beautiful to look at. This book absolutely helped me to change tracks. Just beginning to implement the suggestions in this book has resulted in increasing my energy and motivation as well as improving my overall mood. The book is filled with gorgeous photographs by Jonn Coolidge that beautifully illustrate the ideas presented by Jayme. It is a joy to read as well as to browse through the pictures. I've read the book several times now and have begun to suspect that I will have to buy a backup copy since I will probably wear this one out!

1-0 out of 5 stars Geographic ignorance
Even in Geography this author is confused. About Fatima - that is NOT in Spain, but in Portugal ! - the author it is no better, as almost foreigner authors that attempt to wirte on something that is far away of them, for instance the original and official records about the complexe serial of events in 1917. But since Fatima Apparitions are a icon to millions of people, so the authors each of them try to put a little gasoline in the fire or pepper in the meat ! Of course anyone can invent what they want, since he not claims to be any astounding secret delivered by "uncovered source" that is reael but unfortunally for the Histry is not able to be identified.

5-0 out of 5 stars significent life-transforming information
Spirit Releasement therapy gives very detailed descriptions and applications of what used to be unbelieveable concepts. Now it doesn't matter if you believe them ornot, you can use the ideas to rid traumatized people of left-over distress. One incest survivor I have counseled for years, who still felt bad and dirty, was able to let these feelings out in theform of an evil spirit which had entered her through the perpetrator. She then felt "normal", as she would have if she hadn't been abused, for the first time in 60 years. The ideas in this book can be used successfully astruths or asmetafors.

5-0 out of 5 stars Provides a Wonderful, New Perspective
This second Conversations With God book is amazing!I found that it pushed me to the edge of my thoughts, ideas & comfort zones - providing me with a foundation from which to question myself about how I really thought the world was doing, and more personally, how I thought I was really doing. It also brought to the forefront our personal & collective responsibility in creating the "individual" lives we lead, as well as the way our societies, countries & world create - as what we create, we experience - that is our free will.
3-0 out of 5 stars Still have questions to be asked but some answered
This book takes off where the book one ended. The author is convinced that he is having a conversation with God. If you don't believe in God or are a fundamentalist Christian, don't read this book. If you read it thoroughly, you will begin to understand God better and know that he is loving, kind, compassionate, forgiving, etc. All those good things that we don't hear in an unforgiving, greedy, sex-obsessed world today. I was unsatisfied with God's answers on sexuality. I think God doesn't want sexuality to be exploited or misused by us but we do anyway. Sex without love is nothing more than something to do. Love with sex can be a beautiful thing between two people regardless of their gender. I don't think God cared about that as much as we do. He wants us to love each other not just physically but emotionally as well. THere are lot of relationships based purely on sexuality that when the sex isn't acted out, the relationship can't work together. If you can't hold a conversation with your partner, do you really think this person is the right one? We need to listen to God more. We need to stop thinking of ourselves and see the whole picture of the world around us. I'm glad that the book reinforces my belief that we never die and that we return over and over again to suffer in life.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book
"Conversations with God, Book 2" is a great, mind opening book. I learned a lot, and enjoyed reading it. The dialogue is interesting and beneficial for everyone. I loved the first book, and I love this one too.

God has told us that there are 2 emotions: Love and Fear. Those people that put love in their hearts will understand and accept what God has told us through these books. Those people that put fear in their hearts will continue to be afraid of change and find it easier to blame others for their decisions in the lives that they have created for themselves.
2-0 out of 5 stars The Book Wars
I read all three Conversations with God books and enjoyed each of them. I think there is much of God in the words.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent ... a bit over the fantasy side at the end ...
But nevertheless, if correct, a very worth reading. disturbing... I've been reading a lot over these last months on the UFO topic and this book is paramount lecture. Anyway, there is a conclusion, proposed by Greer and some of the witnesses he interviews, stating the UFOS /ET are good beings and USA govt. is provoking them as they shoot them down, harrass them, etc. I digress ! They cannot have good intentions if they intrude our territory, mutilate our animals, abduct people, etc.I think that in drawing such conclusions the book fails in being objective and with common sense. That is why I give it 4 stars only.

5-0 out of 5 stars Disclosure.....5 stars easy!!
Hard to put down, difficult to condemn, almost impossible to ignore!!...Steven Greer has gone where others haven't had the balls, and placed his reputation on the line to bring the truth out...congratulations!! This is a fantastically researched book covering all facets of the U.F.O. phenomenon and a must read for everyone interested in the TRUTH.Whether or not this will be revealed to us in the near future is another matter, but the fact that extraterrestrial intelligence exists is no longer a question,it's just waiting to be proven en masse.Fantastic reading!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Massive, Barely Edited Compendium of Sometimes Tantalizing Stories
Dr. Steven Greer is a well-known figure on the fringe of UFOlogy, and he claims to have "briefed" senior government figures on the UFO issue, but five minutes with this book reveals why few take the issue seriously.

5-0 out of 5 stars chock full of freedom
I found this book to be easily read, yet contain some fairly complex ideas. The stories and experiences presented as evidence for remote viewing and the extra-material senses of the human mind were fascenating. If you're interested at all in remoteviewing, or even just evidence for science actually "trying" to break into the spiritual, then it's a good book for you.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Introduction to the Limitless Possibilities of Mind and Spirit
I found Limitless Mind to be an exceptional introduction to the study of consciousness and psychic abilities. The book describes many studies relating to fascinating topics such as remote viewing, distance/spiritual healing, precognition, and the fluidity of time and space. It describes the theory that time and space are "nonlocal."This theory suggests that it is an illusion that we occupy a specific area of space at a specific time. But in fact "each region of space-time contains information about every other point in space-time" (8).This is to "suggest that all of space-time is available to your consciousness, right where you are" (5).Or in other words "the whole universe is in some way enfolded in everything, and that each thing is enfolded in the whole" (8).And this would explain the phenomena of remote-viewing where a person describes a place or an object from a distance in which that person could have no sensory perception of the object. In remote viewing you're simply clearing your mind of all the "mental noise" (thoughts, memories, sounds, etc...) constantly running through your head thereby tapping into that part of you that is connected with the universe. Then by focusing your attention on a particular place or object you can access any point in space-time and bring it to your awareness. 4-0 out of 5 stars Interesting, but Not Quite What I Expected...
This book left me with a vague feeling of unease. It was as if I were on the edge of a great enlightenment and then...the book ended. There is some interesting material on Remote Viewing, but you should note that you need at least one partner to practice for the most part.Since this is not a topic of much interest in the Midwest, I don't think I'll be able to practice much.

1-0 out of 5 stars A very shallow puddle
About 8 months ago, during a very bad "flu-experience", I had a great afternoon reading all the negative reviews on 'The Alchemist' and this little gem. And although I was warned, I just HAD to find out for myself (some stubborn people just never learn, do they): could this book really be as awful as these reviewers said it is? And the answer is YES.
4-0 out of 5 stars A quest that is as ancient as it is modern.
Coelho is a master of the words and he doesn't fail to show that even in this book. His storytelling is flowing and never overwhelming or boring.
5-0 out of 5 stars Brilliant
Coelho's writing can only be described as Genuis.Hes a natural and will certainly touch your heart, mind, and soul.He inspired and motivated me with every word that he has written throughout the years.Word in a review cannot begin to describe the writing of this brilliant man.All of his books are highly recommended. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars A classic in the field
Moody is critical enough about what is going on that he makes a good investigator into the NDE phenomenon. There are too many flakes in the field and too many people aiming to crown themselves as spiritual gurus via their claim of having revelations during an NDE. Moody quite simply surveys people who have this experience and notes their similarities and differences. Then, he tries to put it into perspective - how might it be explained physically, psychologically, spiritually? What other phenomenon produce experiences that overlap with some of the ones reported in NDEs (e.g. high-gravity simulators)?
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book!
This book is perfect for those who are just starting to read about Near Death Experiences. While I was reading this book, I kept thinking of how amazing it must have been when this was first published...because at the time, there had not been anything written like this!Once you read "Life After Life", you need to read "Lessons From The Light" by Kenneth Ring...because Kenneth Ring goes in to much greater detail about the actual near death experiences people had, and also goes in depth about how it forever changed their lives once they returned."Lessons From The Light" made a huge impression on me! Both books are A+++++

3-0 out of 5 stars An in-depth look into death and dying...
I find the book somewhat interesting...
