Editorial Review

Blasphemy! Heresy! Who does this man think he is, claiming to speak directly to God?! Jesus did it, Muhammad did it, the Jewish prophets did it, but none of their Gods had the sardonic wit or raw verve of Prophet Walsch's God. Neale Donald Walsch isn't claiming to be the Messiah of a new religion, just a frustrated man who sat down one day with pen in his hand and some tough questions in his heart. As he wrote his questions to God, he realized that God was answering them... directly... through Walsch's pen. The result, far from the apocalyptic predictions or cultic eccentricities you might expect, turns out to be matter-fact, in-your-face wisdom on how to get by in life while remaining true to yourself and your spirituality. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Provocative, controversial, parts may resonate with you
It is only in the last year that I've dug deep into my spiritual journey in this life.
2-0 out of 5 stars Think before you buy
I have read almost all of Sylvia Browne's book and out of curiousity decided to flip through the pages of this one. After reading a little bit of what she has written, I felt like I was reading one of her earlier books.Yes, she does get a very repetitive, but some of the topics recently have really made me question her validity.Either she has run out of interesting and new information to share with the public and is forced to make things up, or her ego has gotten the best of her and she actually believes that she knows EVERYTHING!
4-0 out of 5 stars Same old, same old . . . .
I love this lady dearly and have seen her in person three times at lectures/book signings. However, nothing in this book is fresh - rather it rehashes material that she's had in print for a long while.Every day when I leave my home I ask Lillith to protect my pet and keep her healthy...it wasn't until I read this book that I remembered it was Sylvia's initial publication of the Lillith information that got me started doing it (that's how long it's been...that I'd even forgotten the origins of my request).Sylvia has been teaching us for so long, I have to wonder if there's anything left that she has not addressed. Anymore I just get her books from the library - then if there's something of interest that I want to keep for future reference, I'll purchase it.If this is Sylvia's way to keep her face and her ideas in the public domain, then more power to her.I'd rather hear her lovely renditions of Home than the fire and brimstone others choose to hawk. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Too Wordy
This book was a little TOO wordy for my taste. I am sure to ALL the FANS of the Hick's absolutely love it, however I did not. That's just my opinion. I am off to the next book. I prefer something that is straight to the point and lewss fluff, if you will.

1-0 out of 5 stars The Amazing Power of Drivel
As a university professor of human resource development and an Anglican brother, The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent is pure drivel and has no redeeming value whatsoever. If you enjoy new-age fantasy, get a copy from your local library otherwise do not waste your money. If you are serious about spiritual growth you might read works such as The Rule of Benedict: Insights for the Ages, or the best selling book on spiritual development of all time.. it's called the Bible.

4-0 out of 5 stars Another wonderful resource
The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent is another wonderful resource on the Law of Attraction. While it doesn't contain as many "new" insights as I had hoped, the material is (as always) thought provoking and energizing. An easy read with outstanding examples of how to apply the principles of attraction in your life. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Of course the fundamentalists are scared.......
It is clear that this is the book that Christian fundamentalists (I say this as an American, but I suppose the Muslim and other fundamentalists elsewhere would also fight it) don't want you to read.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Reference Book!
This book has been invaluable to me for years. In coming across an animal in life or in dreams, I have derived much insight from the lifecyle and meaning of the animal, and have applied the lessons to my own life.Whether it was a blue jay dying in front of me, or an elephant communicating with me at the circus, we co-exist with the animals on this blue planet and need to hear what they are saying.I also recommend "From the Horses Mouth" by Amelia Kincade, as the best book on animal communication I have read.

5-0 out of 5 stars Valuable Resource
I have been clutching my copy of Animal Speak for many years now.I am coming today to purchase the workbook which I just discovered and wanted to write a quick review for this amazing book.
5-0 out of 5 stars Nature speaks to you through animal sightings.
I received this book as a gift after a red tailed hawk made a visit to me every day for a week.In this book, according to Native American traditions, animals relate to us because everything in the earth is connected. There are messages being sent to us by these sightings.A fox runs out across the road (and hopefully, you miss it) not once, but three times?Red tailed hawk sitting on a street light along the highway every day for a week? All of a sudden, a squirrel comes to your yard and does something that catches your attention that you never noticed before? All of that has a message to you and you alone.I recently purchased two of these books as gifts for my sisters. And, they have shared it with their friends who have had similar sightings.Sounds kookie, I know, but it actually will make sense to you when the message is meant for you. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The one that changed my life
It's hard to maintain an appropriate scientific skepticism when you find a book that has no epidemiological basis but manages to answer all of your most vexing life questions. This is the book that just "clicked" with me.
5-0 out of 5 stars Brings great peace of mind.
This book does more than any other book I have read to ensure peace of mind for those contemplating their own death or the death of a loved one. It gives detailed histories of soul progress from the time of death up to the choice of the next birth. The detail is convincing, and it fits with my extensive study of metaphysical literature on spiritual development and reincarnation. The stories carry more credibility because they come from a skeptical hypnotherapist who got into regression therapy to help people with behavior problems, and developed techniques for regressing the client to the cause of the problem. At first he was getting mainly childhood events, then he got a case involving a past life. In following his own curiosity, he learned to take clients through their death scene and into the various phases of life between lives. Thus far I have bought about 8 copies to share with friends, and have told many more about it. Don't miss it!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best News Yet or a Hoax?
This book is either the best news you've ever heard or it's total B.S.The authors' premise is that many people have been contacted by deceased loved-ones through various means; for instance, by visions of them, by hearing their voices, while the experiencers are awake, while asleep, etc.But the subjects have been reluctant to speak about them for fear of being deemed crazy.
5-0 out of 5 stars This is a great book!
I have read several books on Near Death Experiences, and I came across this book while reading "Lessons From The Light."This is an excellent book.It is filled with so many great accounts of After Death Communications. If you have ever been interested in ADCs, then you need to read this....it will really make you stop and think. It helps you to realize that some things aren't simply "dreams" but actual ADCs!!I have had one, and it made me excited to learn that so many others have had the same experience.
5-0 out of 5 stars Forever Grateful.
My 22 year old son past away unexpectedly, leaving his 5 month old daughter. My pain was so unbearable, I just wanted to die. Reading this book three weeks after his death gave me comfort, strength, understanding and hope to survive such a horrible loss. I am forever grateful to this book for helping me in my deepest pain. This book has helped me to gain such strength to live again. I could not have done it without reading "Hello from Heaven". ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Deck Is Stacked In Your Favor
I bought these cards on a whim because I'm not a big fan of "card decks". I know that a lot of people use these decks to meditate upon or get a glimpse of what their soul might be telling them, but I have always preferred to just sit as quietly as I could and see what bubbled up from within. If for some reason the "inner chatter" was too loud and I couldn't get still, I'd close my eyes and pick a book from my library and once I had the book in my hand, and with eyes still closed,I would open the book to any page and after I selected my page, I'd open my eyes and read the first thing my eyes fell upon. I noticed that I always read exactly what I needed to hear...maybe I always do...maybe most of the time I am just plain stubborn and I think I know more than my soul. As one of my mentor's might say, "Your arrogance is your ignorance and your ignorance is your arrogance...."
5-0 out of 5 stars A great addition to those working with the LOA
I'm going to keep this review brief, but as these cards only had one other review I felt compelled to let everyone know about what a wonderful and beautiful set this is.The artwork is soft, warm, and inviting, and the messages are powerful reminders for staying on the path and believing in your outcome.I have many other decks that I have used as part of my daily meditations, but this has immediately become by far my favorite.I believe this deck would be of great benefit to anyone wishing to improve their frame of mind and lives, not just those following the Abraham-Hicks teachings.I am very grateful to have this deck and highly recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!
"You will experience an enhancing of your personal power, which may, at first, seem illogical or even magical, as the Energy Stream from which these cards have come dovetails with the true essence of your own being. As you return for frequent visits to these beautiful cards, you will begin to notice a definite closing of the gap between where you are and where you want to be on all subjects that are important to you." - From the authors

5-0 out of 5 stars Provides a Wonderful, New Perspective
This second Conversations With God book is amazing!I found that it pushed me to the edge of my thoughts, ideas & comfort zones - providing me with a foundation from which to question myself about how I really thought the world was doing, and more personally, how I thought I was really doing. It also brought to the forefront our personal & collective responsibility in creating the "individual" lives we lead, as well as the way our societies, countries & world create - as what we create, we experience - that is our free will.
3-0 out of 5 stars Still have questions to be asked but some answered
This book takes off where the book one ended. The author is convinced that he is having a conversation with God. If you don't believe in God or are a fundamentalist Christian, don't read this book. If you read it thoroughly, you will begin to understand God better and know that he is loving, kind, compassionate, forgiving, etc. All those good things that we don't hear in an unforgiving, greedy, sex-obsessed world today. I was unsatisfied with God's answers on sexuality. I think God doesn't want sexuality to be exploited or misused by us but we do anyway. Sex without love is nothing more than something to do. Love with sex can be a beautiful thing between two people regardless of their gender. I don't think God cared about that as much as we do. He wants us to love each other not just physically but emotionally as well. THere are lot of relationships based purely on sexuality that when the sex isn't acted out, the relationship can't work together. If you can't hold a conversation with your partner, do you really think this person is the right one? We need to listen to God more. We need to stop thinking of ourselves and see the whole picture of the world around us. I'm glad that the book reinforces my belief that we never die and that we return over and over again to suffer in life.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book
"Conversations with God, Book 2" is a great, mind opening book. I learned a lot, and enjoyed reading it. The dialogue is interesting and beneficial for everyone. I loved the first book, and I love this one too.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Perfect End to the CWG Trilogy
I have really enjoyed reading all of the books in the Conversations With God trilogy.I've found that they've led me to consider "new" possibilites, expand my thought processes, and ultimately to look at my life & the lives in others in a whole new light.
5-0 out of 5 stars God's Friend
God has told us that there are 2 emotions: Love and Fear. Those people that put love in their hearts will understand and accept what God has told us through these books. Those people that put fear in their hearts will continue to be afraid of change and find it easier to blame others for their decisions in the lives that they have created for themselves.

5-0 out of 5 stars Freedom from Mara (Illusion)
This is an interesting dimension on the 12-steps which were Christian in origin and spiritual in nature. One Breath at a Time is a Buddhist slant on the one day at a time approach in recovery. One primary lesson from Buddhist philosophy is that attachment and craving are at the root of suffering. Addiction is both an attachment and a craving whose compulsions take over and trap an individual in an endless cycle. Whether the addiction is to a substance or a behavior the illusion that it frees the person from pain is what mara is ... a mirage promising bounties that are empty. So ... for those who are interested in other perspectives of recovery - this is one read to consider.

This book is well written and easy to read.I relapsed with 13+ years in a 12 step program and having a difficult time getting reconnected. As someone with Buddhist leanings who never quite bridged the gap between the steps and Buddhism I found this book to be of great help.If you are even remotely interested in working the 12 steps from a Buddhist perspective I highly recommend this book.

What good is there to write a book about the hereafter if it is only speculation?
1-0 out of 5 stars good book but all lies
i purchased this book several years ago and enjoyed it immensely.and after seeing her on montel williams and hearing her on coast so coast am with art bell, i was completely hooked. what a truly amazing gift she has, right?i even went as far as booking a reading with her.the reading came and went. . . and absolutely nothing she said came true.while the book was a fun read, i learned a rather expensive lesson and will never again waste my money on anything that has to do with sylvia browne.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love This Book
I read this book when it first came out and then loaned it to someone.I never got it back so decided to purchase it again. After reading it the second time, I was just awestruck by how much this book affected me.I have read most of the life after life books by numerous authors. Some are more believable than others but Sylvia Browne's is one of the most believable yet.It is easy to read and understand and you can actually visualize how things probably appear on the other side. One of my favorite parts is the appendix which lists the categories of Life Plans that we use when scripting our earthly incarnations. It is interesting to see how one specific category will jump out at you giving you a better understanding of why your current life is the way it is and also why other people in your lives make the choices that they do.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is exploring the afterlife. ... Wonderful, eclectic book...filled with nuggets of wisdom, sassy observations, truth-seeking insights.New.Unusual.Not for the scaredy-cats of philosophy, religion or politics. The sort of book that lends well to thumbing through at leisure, or flipping through backwards. Or upside down, or inside out. A great book to find refuge in when the prison-camps of corporate life and stultified living are overwhelming.I plan to give copies to everyone I know and to quote some of the more outrageous thoughts in the faces of my dreariest, most conservative acquainances.Loved the book.Recommend it highly.

This is the second in a three book series by the renowned Master Hypnotherapist
5-0 out of 5 stars Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton
This book is a sequel to Journey of Souls , also by Michael Newton. I found both books fascinating reading, answering many questions I hadn't found covered in other books about past-life regression and life after death. I highly recommend these books for anyone interested in this topic.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome book! Very Interesting!

I have no way of understanding how someone could not love such a life's work as this one. An artist might have to die to get famous, but what about those who die and come back?
5-0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT BOOK
I read this book initially several years ago just before my mother passed away.I found it very comforting.I give it to people who are dealing with a death in the family or an illness of their own.

2-0 out of 5 stars Good for Mormons
No doubt most Christians will be entertained by this read.Eadie asserts that all people may not come to know Christ as the savior in this life but that they "must" accept his love in the next. The implications of a continued denial are not addressed (along with many other things she supposedly gained insight toward).I don't necessari
